Default buying new computer

im looking to purchace a new computer but im not sure whats a fair price i was looking at a pc with dual core processor, 160 gig ram, dvd burner, 2gig video,brand new for $500 does this sound fair?

160 gigs of ram I think you meant 160 gigabyte hard drive, correct? 2 gigs of video should be ram.
