okay not to beat a dead horse but here is another set up i sort of took the suggestions given in this thread and found products at microcenter which is located close to me so this way i could get all the components locally let me know what you think thanks.

case 79.99
http://www.microcenter.com/single_pr...uct_id=0263624

psu 69.99
http://www.microcenter.com/single_pr...uct_id=0264584

cpu 169.99
http://www.microcenter.com/single_pr...uct_id=0281087

gpu 229.99 with 30 dollar rebate
http://www.microcenter.com/single_pr...uct_id=0279319

mobo 99.99
http://www.microcenter.com/single_pr...uct_id=0256567

harddrive 69.99
http://www.microcenter.com/single_pr...uct_id=0229382

memory 82.99 with 30 dollar rebate
http://www.microcenter.com/single_pr...uct_id=0250108

optical drive 39.99
http://www.microcenter.com/single_pr...uct_id=0264960

cpu cooler 49.99
http://www.microcenter.com/single_pr...uct_id=0253325

892.99 + 74 tax = 967 or so and then the operating system either vista or xp haven't decided but lets just say 100 dollars for that so grand total of about 1067 or so. what do you guys think?

alright i may change the psu so it won't have any blue leds but here is another question what do you guys know of the lcd temp guages on cases are there a places to plug it in on the mobo? that lexa case has 3 lcd temp guages and since this is my first build i just wasn't sure where the wires from these plug into? also of the mobo i listed no one has said if it is better than the gigabyte from newegg any thought on this? the one from newegg sounds like it has a faster fsb. here are the two i was wondering about

Okay here is the final build I went with Newegg except for the case because I case is cheaper at microcenter so I am going to buy it locally. I decided to skip the separate heat sink and fan b/c the cpu comes with a heat sink. thanks for all your help, hopefully will be building this next weekend let me know what you guys think.
