Default looking for friendly advice

0k to start, I'm not a forum guy, therefore I found need in something and this my first post, ever. So if I've done anything wrong please just tell me, don't insult me.
Ok, that said, I'm going to be building my first computer, and have had approximately 3 weeks of intoxicated studying on what I want, which is basically something better than an Xbox 360. I'm here looking for exactly what I want, and if you can help i will be ever greatful, so much so if you can find me the parts for cheaper, I'll send you 1/3 of the difference. I know it may wind out to 30 cents, but i"ll do it. My questions are basically, have enough ram to work, do I have the right starter wattage, do I NEED anything I don't have on the list, should I get more fans, you know basically guide me so I don't burn out or even blow up my expensive new baby. Things like me getting a second graphics card right away, super ram, or anything I can wait a year to get, I would prefer to wait, but you can suggest all you want, I'll like. But the other stuff like, don't go amd or windows sucks, I've seen that intel is doing better, and linux is a powerhouse, I've still made my choice there. So yeah I wouldn't know how the paint my questions clearer and here is what I think I want. This list is what I'm planning on buying, putting together and turning on.... and being proud of, maybe even throw a huge party for. I have the exact models, the cheapest prices I've found(and can trust), and where I've found them.

You've done at least one thing wrong. You use a large font.

Unless there are specific reasons for using large fonts (eye disorders, higlighting a word, titles...etc), don't use them, because it makes reading kind of difficult.

This is no offence or insult or anything like that, take it as friendly advice. Using "normal"-sized fonts (the default wil do fine) makes things easier for readers.

Cheers!

I would just go ahead and say to order everything from one place, or at least try to split it evenly... that will help you out with payments and shipping, etc. Just go with newegg, as they are trusted and have good shipping rates.

Thank you for reading this.
I don't believe you can get something with "Better" performance then a 360 for the same price ($350). True you can double the money and maybe find something "as" good but still. I'm not saying you shouldn't build a computer I'm just letting you know... I would recommend a 360 for gaming anyhow considering goofy lag and controls on PC. (sometimes)

i highly recommend that you re-consider the phenom CPU. i think most people would agree that the intel q6600 outperforms the phenom in every application.
