Default GeForce 8800GTS vs GeForce 8800GT

is it worth the extra 40 bucks?

Depends on if you want to spend $40 extra bones on an average of 10% percent extra oomph. It's the same as the difference between the GTX and the ultra, not alot, but neither is $40.. which means more to you? =]

the 40 $ cause in a year 40$ will be worht 40$ and there will probly be a 5$ difference betweent he cards

acctuly ends up its only 30$ cause of the mail in rebates set it off 10$

I wouldn't say it's alot better, all the different brands use the same Nvidia reference chip, only thing that's truly different is the silicon, RAM modules, capacitors, etc. Might make for a slightly longer life span, or alittle better overclocking..

I dunno how ECS' customer/tech service is. That's a denominator that should be measured..
