I didnt know what section to put this under so.....
My computer (Dell optiplex gx280) runs slow when i have a lot of adds on a page. it will either not let me scroll at all, or is really slow at it. when i watch a video, whether it be on google, youtube, or whatever, it wont let me scroll at all, switch between tabs in mozilla, and most of the time wont go full screen. what is the problem with this? it shouldnt be ram, i got 2.5 GB, and for the rest of the stats, go here, http://support.dell.com/support/edoc...ug/specs02.htm , mine is the small mini tower. |

An Optiplex does not have a very strong processor, and I imagine your using onboard video. If you don't have much cash, I'd swap everything into a larger case and get a better video card. (Unless you can find a low profile video card)
Otherwise, get a new computer. |
