There won't be a degaussing "thing" XD On old CRT monitors if you put a magnet near the monitor it would change the color, basically degaussing removes this effect.
I'm sorry, I wish I could help, but I don't really know much about this sort of thing

ive used it on cs. maybe its your GPU, if your GPU is not powerful enough CSS will just freeze and shut down. what are your specs?

Normally it doesn't have a degaussing.
