Hi,
I have recently ordered some stock from a supplier which I intent to sell on ebay, at the time I thought I could approx make a £1 per time. Thought I would play safe for first time and buy small, low value items to see how things went. So this is one example of a item I have bought. I bought a box which has 5 of the same product in. I paid £4.75 for the box, so divide the total amount by number of units including VAT totals £1.12 a unit. So i researched and realised I could sell the unit for about £2.50 a unit. So i thought great over a £1 profit a unit. When I then started to work out the ebay fees and paypal fees I am not getting concerned. I have done a calculation which would result me getting £1.05 a unit. Losing 7p a unit. That doesnt include if I make money on packaging which I dont intend to. I will be doing it via an ebay shop. Any chance someone could checkl figures to make sure I am right. Figures: Buy for £1.12 a unit inc VAT Sell on ebay for £2.50 Postage 1.85 I calculated that that ebay take 10% and paypal take 3.4% - 0.20p Hope some one can help ASAP as stock is ordered and coming soon. Thanks Tom
