As I have mentioned before, Im a journalist for a radio station here in Ohio. Im looking to put together a good kit of lenses and a flash for my canon XT. I do a lot of portraitesque shots of interviewees and lots of pics during events and city council meetings. If you guys could suggest some good lenses, I want to stay under $600 total on 1 or 2 lenses, and around $200 for a flash. Thanks in advance!

For a zoom lens, I use the EF 70-300mm f/4.5-5.6 DO IS USM which is a bit out of your budget range but the EF 70-300mm f/4-5.6 IS USM can be had for much less (closer to your budget if u shop for it). Other than polarizer + tripod/remote, you're pretty much set ![]()
