Well, I was typing a rather lengthy word document when it up and froze and gave me the 'Not Responding' status. The whole word document just became a blank white page, the rest of my computer was fine, just the document froze. Anyways, this went on for a while and it didn't come back so I was hoping that if I exit out of it Word would do one of those auto-recover things when I open Word up again.
It didn't. Is there anyway that I could get the document back if I didn't have it saved when Word stop responding? I know I should save more, I normally do, it just slipped my mind this time. Any help would be much appreciated! Thanks. |

if there was no doc file previoulsy saved that was all wiped upon seeing the blank screen. That's one reason for the golden rule of "frequent backups" in the event something goes... oops! ut oh? on you. Just the opening up of Word Pad again tells all as far as the need to start fresh all over again.
