Search next time: Which CPU brand do you choose? Version 2

BTW, do you even know what you have for specs in your computer? I ask because all you say is 3GHz Quad Core, and 1GB of Video Memory, which means absolutely nothing. They also don't make 3TB hard drives.

Edit: That said, next time I go for an AMD.

Had it built by a company specializing in high end PC's, it worked out cheaper than it would have been for me to build it. Anyways, it was only £2200 - I had been saving money from work and profit money from building PC's for people, and I saw the ad on the internet. I just decided I had to have the PC. Got the extra £200 I needed, and away I was.

He's not 13, you can tell by the way he types.

Anyways, Intel is best now because of their Core 2 lineup.

Probably not, he thought a Quad Core running at 3.0GHz meant a CPU running at a whopping 12.0GHz!!

On topic:

Yeah Core 2 Duos from Intel are the way to go now if you wish to overclock. If you just an occasional gamer then you could go mid/high-end AMD X2 on stock and you should get a nice deal.
