Default email and Thunderbird question

Ive got a email addy that is in the form of aroundcarpetcare.com

the email is good. he's my neighbor.
i go and try to set it up address book / new card.

heres the error:
the primary email address must be of the form user@host.

any suggestions?

Valid email addresses have an @ in them, and would be in the form of someone@aroundcarpetcare.com, as the error says. I would ask your neighbour for his email address again.
