i wouldnt get the system builders one; if you have to reinstall after a possible RMA, you cant reuse the license key

Default still need more help

1) Thanks for the info. on Vista.
2) My case can't be bigger than 20 1/2 inches.
3) Reddevil reccomendations: a) The reviews on the MOBO make it seem like it would be hard for first time builder to deal with. b) I don't think I need the bigger processor or the 4gb of RAM.
4) I'm not looking to overclock at all.

Any more reccomendations or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Not sure what you would do with your system, but here goes (somethings will be similar to reddevil)
I made 2 suggestions since we don't know what you will use it for. We know it won't be gaming, but how much power you need is unsure. The 1st system is using newer stuff, thus costier and more powerful. You could also switch the E8400 for a Q6600 if you do lots of multitasking.

CPU:
Intel E8400 239.99
Mobo:
Gigabyte GA-EX38 206.99
RAM:
Corsair XMS2 2x1gb 53.00

GPU:
Sapphire 2600XT 74.99
Optical Drive:
