Msn messenger SN problem

hey everyone

i was trying to change my name on msn and when ever i put in a new name and click apply and okay it doenst actually change my name but if i try to do it to the personal message part it works fine.
any one have any ideas?

uninstall and reinstall msn

Hmmmm Dont uninstall yet! Exit Msn go back in. Click on your name then click options. Write in lets say " Your name " Click OK. If that doesn't work then restall.

alright cool ill give that a try later, im pretty sure i have reinstalled and no luck...but we will see

Just reinstall should do the trick.

it does that to me sometimes... but when i try it again it works..
