I am using an Altec Lansing headset, it has the two Mic and Headphone jacks, but I am using a Logitech USB Converter, it works, but I have to plug the headset in when I want to use the Mic and Headphones, while when I unplug it I hear through the speakers. Is it possible to keep the headset plugged in, and have it play through the headphones and have the mic work, while I am not using it, like when I am using the speakers.
Running Vista. Thanks.

Do you want to use the speakers and headphones at the same time? I don't think that Windows is designed to do that. It's either one or the other.
