If my case has a front panel cable for speakers, does this go to the sound card, or do I just plug it into my motherboard? I'm not even sure my soundcard (Xtremegamer) has a place to plug a cable into anyway, but the manual mentions plugging it into the mobo or sound card, if one is installed.

Thanks. Now, does this really accomplish anything since I will disable onboard sound? I ask out of curiosity, because I still will plug it in for completeness, or if I ever need onboard sound enabled.
