I just ordered the arctic freezer 7 and some of their silver compound
i was looking at the pics of the freezer and it shows that it has some compound on it already. im guessing that it isnt acrtic silver is it?

Just wipe off the existing thermal computer like dougland suggested and apply some fresh AS as I am sure it conducted heat better then the existing thermal compound/pad.
