Default hp color laserjet 3500n

at work we have the printer above and atm we cant print anything because its got a paper jam but ive open it up and i cant see it anywere atall also another IT mate of mine has had a look at it and he cant see a jam in it aswell can anyone help

We had this same issue and it was a fuser problem they came and replaced the fuser and the error went away. Also some hp's will say paper jams when they need cleaned might be a good idea to get a tech to come look at it..

fuser? and it does say its a paper jam, cant i clean it myself or not?

paperjam doesnt mean paperjam with hp's sometimes hp's will report a paperjam when they need cleaned most times thats the problem most of the time...

Fuser is a type of liquid or oil that mixes with the dry toner to turn it into a form of ink/liquid that can be sprayed onto the page and then evaporated away by the heating element in the laser printer. And codeman's suggestion/diagnosis is more than likely correct, especially with a printer that size. You can try cleaning out any dust or dirt you see with some canned air, but I wouldn't get too aggressive because you can easily break something while poking around in there. Best to wait and let a certified technician take a look at the printer.
