Cable is awesome, but more expensive. You know, you get what you pay for. I've had nothing but problems with DSL, in the past.

That's right. I have Comcast and I'll never switch again.

I have the 20mbit service from Time Warner cable at my home. I never have any major issues, with the exception that my neighborhood is a bit older and sometimes during the cold and freezing weather the cable can go out. As far as performance goes, I would have to say Cable because of the faster upload speeds and download speeds as well. I also never have a problem with it slowing down during peak time or when tons of people get on. I have maxed my bittorrent client at 1.5 megabytes per a second before and do it often if I can get enough seeders to upload that much to me.

I had DSL in the past when I lived in Denver from Qwest, and it was mediocre at best.

T1 and T3 are just speed increases.

You get WAY faster upload/download speeds, and you also pay about 120 a month.

i believe t3 is 10mb or something. im not too sure.

if you can get FiOS. I just switched from Comcast Cable (10/2), and on speed tests i only got about 6/1.5, with verizon, i always get 15/2, whether its mid day saturday (and all of my neighbors are on the net), or 3am sunday, i always get 15/2. Right now they have a deal, 110 a month for tv, internet, and phone. The internet is 15/2, like mine. In counter strike source, my ping is always 5 (the lowest possible), sometimes i even have same or less lag then the owner of the server. If you can not get FiOS, then stick with cable, its better than DSL. Right now, FiOS owns EVERYTHING out there.
