I have a Lexmark X1185 printer, and am using the Lexmark X1100 series software. The pages printed are alligned horizontally properly, but not vertically. The printer begins printing too far down the page and as a result the bottom half of a printout is missing.

I have looked in the software but I can only see horizontal allignment preferences....

Does anyone know how to fix this?

I don't know how new that printer is, but in the control panel for that printer (it could be on the printer itself) There should be an align cartridges option somewhere around there. Does that help?

thanks.... but I checked and again it only allows me to change how it's aligned horizontally, not vertically....

I have also checked how the cartridges are set and they're perfect too, it just seems that the printer starts printing too far down the page, and I can't find anything to change that
