I'm looking for opinions because I'm thinking of buying one.

Well I ordered it tonight. I hope to get it by the end of the week or beginning of next week. I'll try to write about my impression of it after I give it a photo test run!

It looks like a pretty nice introductory/general use type of camera. I especially like the 5x optical zoom that it offers in such a small frame, plus you can basically never go wrong with a Nikon.

Yeah, my Nikon Coolpix P60 came today. That's pretty fast delivery considering I ordered it from Newegg late monday night just 3 days ago. But I have to wait until tomorrow when the Kingston 2gb SD flash card comes to do anything serious with it. The internal memory is only 12mb, so it only holds 4-6 pictures at full resolution. The camera looks pretty nice so far. The electronic viewfinder toggle feature is pretty cool. I'm still reading about everything in the manual. The software CD includes Nikon Transfer and ArcSoft Panorama Maker 4. I got the camera for $204.99 and the 2gb SD memory for $8.25.

well thats a pretty good deal for their price. Nikon's are really well known and are nice cameras but their more known for their SLR's. But i suppose this is a little late but im sure it should be a great camera!

I quite like the ISO2000 rating (sure I'll never shoot that but [1] at least it's there and [2] nikon + higher iso = their ideal limit is probably iso 1200 or so --- well past the iso800 which most cheaper/other cameras start to noise-out).
