Default Advice?

My sister is looking to buy a laptop just for basic things no games does anyone know of a good laptop for under $700 canadian? If so thnks in advance

Ugh! Theres other models out there aside from Dell. I think the HPs are very nice laptops for around that price range. Even though its about 50 or so dollars (without shipping) out of your range, I like

A couple of my fraternity brothers have them and I like the way they look, type, and feel. Perhaps thats worth giving a look at?

of course there are other models. i like dell the best. thats why im recommending them.
