Default Can you top this for under around $1000

Alright, I was checking out Newegg the other day and saw this. I have to say my eyes nearly bugged out. I was wondering if anyone could beat the specs of THIS laptop for around $1,000. Let me know. I haven't been able to after looking at dell's (even using coupons).
Anyway, let me know.

I don't know... I think they would be somewhat comparable I guess. Sure your's had more RAM but the processor wasn't as good. Mine was a 2.2 @800mhz yours was 2.0 @667mhz.

Any opinions on which is better people?

I will probably buy the asus later this week, I was kind of torn but I think the better processors wins, however, the 8600m gt is better, but not by much.
