Many games now seen are on dvds not cds. If the game requires a dvd type game disk in the drive that will work just like any other dvd rom or burner. Game cds witll run on dvd drives as well as cd rom and cd writer types while cd optical models offer faster read times due to the smaller density of cds over dvds to begin with.

What do you mean by video games? If you mean games that are designed for other platforms then no. And i you mean computer games, I don't see why a DVD burner wouldn't be able to use a game CD/DVD...

A dvd-rom will read dvds but it won't rip or burn them, it probably will burn and rip cds, a the dvd writer will do everything for cds and dvds

Discussion of copying any protected materials is against forum rules. Rule #1 at Forum Rules
