Default AMD 2800+ to a E6600!

My cousin is gonna be gutting out his PC from an Abit NF7-S v2 Motherboard with an Athlon 2800+ processor, to a P5B Deluxe with an E6600.

He has a water cooling setup on there, what are the odds that the water cooling is gonna be compatible from the AMD to the Intel?

If not, is there a way to remedy this situation? Just buy a CPU block?

I'm not into watercooling, but I'm pretty sure you will have to buy a new heatsink for the socket type, however you could get luck and already have the brackets for it.

Agreed. Different socket = different heatsinks, unless it's a widely compatible one...
