Default How to improve CF...

I've found several ways to improve this forum--

1) Don't post unless you can deal with someone else's opinion
2) Quit talking about abortion...
3) Quit allowing post counts to skyrocket via "Amazing" or "Crazy" games
4) Allow ppl to name and mention other forums but not be communists about it.
5) Don't talk about drugs, not promoting use but, ppl will be skeptical.
6) Don't put the term "gun" and "redneck" together
7) Don't allow the members that suck up to the mods to post the same crap that new ppl get banned for
8) And wait a minute, we need a spam thread for mods to do their job? WTF does the "Report" button do then?
9) Consider some friggin' ideas around here? Like better expansion of topics
10) Why can we talk about voiding the Hell out of warranties by OC'ing, volt modding, etc but not by modifying something other than a CPU/GPU?
11) Let's expand our horizons here, the programming experience is weak here, networking is weak here, Mac user base is weak here, etc. Is there no strategy in mind to maybe pull some members with any type of experience?
12) Get rid of the useless posts that come from ppl that seem to like Halo 3
13) I'd love to see some original thought here, too.

If you like what you see above come to OCForums...
(Oops, I just mentioned another forum, I am so going to Hell)

tlarkin and PC eye, you guys provided me the most help here...

I am so glad 12-15yo's can makeup the body of members and constantly regurgitate information. Works so well... /sarcasm

I am outtie!

Later ya'll, I'm off to shoot guns, invest in the stock market and be pro-choice, .

my ideas:

1. respect one another
2. some of the younger members need to show a bit more maturity
3. put an end to worthless posts...

1. I'd take the time to respond but if I say anything about America you'll dismiss by opinion because I don't live there.

8. You'd be suprised how few people actually use the report post button.

10. Who says you can't? There's one fellow, I don't remember his name, but hes got a thread about modding the crap out of a case and adding water cooling and what not. His name is mankz or something.

11. How much programming experience do you actually have? Also, there are several members with experience you've just choosen to ignore them so you can go on your rant.

12. So most of yours then?

Go shoot your guns, and drive your SUV you macho macho man

Well said.

I think that "Computer Forum" should be more computer oriented. I think it has become too much of a social forum, which is fine, but I don't see as much computer and tech stuff on here anymore.

For the most part, IC, nicely put. I especially loved #'s 1, 3, and 7, and have to say #12 is spot-on

Honestly, I'm not sure why I even visit the OT section most of the time. Maybe it's just to 'unwind' after going through the other Folders. It's ironic how probably 90% of the Posters in the OT section never post outside of it, and when they do, it's mostly random thoughts of utter stupidity. I've never seen another Forum like that - what is it about this one that attracts them all?

I do agree with some of them, I strongly agree that we should expand a little more and have a few more topics / sections...

Also, clamp down on the utter crap posts that people post, I know we all have our moments, but some people take it too far... It gets irritating!

I think it'd be great if this forum got a rep, and people knew of it, the only way to do so, is to expand and add a few more things... Take a chance... You can't drive a car in 1st gear all the time

I think abortions are pretty cool, they should be more frequent.

Discuss?

Yeah about that abortion thing. Hasn't it not been talked about for at least a week if not 2 now?

Not to be technical, but that's not ironic at all.

I know there's more than a few of us who would like like to get rid of the 'amazing one word post game' threads.
