Exclamation Remote Desktop

i am working on setting up remote desktop and i have attached a picture of my laptop (second pic) with the remote desktop option and i am able to connect to my computer threw remote desktop
but on my other computer at home i can do not see a remote desktop picture (first pic) also included a picture of this if any one knows why i am not getting the remote desktop option
any help with this problem is greatly appreciated

I think "Remote Desktop" is Window XP Pro only. If you want, try something like TightVNC or LogMeIn, both of which are great and easy ways (LogMeIn in particular) for remote access that are better than Remote Desktop in my opinion.

Your laptop is XP PROFESSIONAL, but the other one is XP HOME or another lower version.
Just the version of XP PROFESSIONAL can support remote desktop.
So you may try 'pcAnywhere', or 'Remote Administrator'.

You can remote into an XP Home station, however XP Home doesn't have remote desktop built in.

On that first pic, you need to click advanced and then select "allow users to connect remotely to this PC"
