Running Vista Home premium 64bit and have no issues with it , solid OS. Also run XP pro but only so that I can play alot of my older games.

I chose good because I like the visuals. I don't do a lot of gaming now (laptop) so I don't really see the performance hit that vista might have while gaming. The OS itself is very eye pleasing, and I like the ease of navigating in and around files. The main thing for me though is the visuals...its a nice looking OS

It does come back, but a reboot also cures it.
Ive not got much of a problem on GTA SA, just low FPS on 1680x1050 because its a very poorly written game. (Had the problem in XP also). But at 1024x768 its constant 167FPS.....

It happened to me a couple times and most of the time right when i emptied the recycle bin and then if i put something in the recycle bin it would come back up. Kinda weird and funny!!

You forgot "Switched to Linux because of it." That's what I did. Vista is terrible!
