Does it show up in your device manager, if so uninstall it and reboot. If not Check your IDE or Sata cable to make sure it pluged in good.

Thanks for helping everyone but i found a solution.Yesterday i found out that it was missing from device manager. So this morning when i turned on my computer i went to device manager and at the top i clicked "Action" next to "File". Then i clicked "search for hardware changes" and then it said at the bottom "new hardware found" and installed it and my CD drive is back.
