Default Need Help FAST!

Ok well.. i don't have a problem so to speak but i really need some help. Okay i was making this PowerPoint presentation on the 2007 version if that matters or not.. and it turns out my school doesn't have Microsoft PowerPoint 2007 or Microsoft PowerPoint Viewer 2007.. they have Microsoft PowerPoint 2003 and i tried installing the compatibility package from Microsoft but it turns out they don't have administrator privileges ... pretty stupid since they own the computer/laptop don't ya think ? Anyways all i need to know how to do it either change my PowerPoint without having to remake the whole thing in Microsoft PowerPoint 2003 it turns out they have a DVD player hooked up to a tv i could use...does anyone know how to burn a DVD/CD that will play on a DVD player.. ? I sure don't and was hoping that you could help. I don't have the DVD specs currently but if you guys need them i mite be able to get them by either late today or late Tuesday..

All you have to do is go to File->Save as and click on PowerPoint 97-2003 Presentation. That will make what ever you did on the 2007 version work on any version of PowerPoint from 97-2003.

As for the D.V.D I don't really know what you are talking about? Are you saying as an alternative the school can give you a T.V. with a D.V.D. player to play your presentation?

Yes they can and it's probably easier for them to get the T.V with the DVD player instead of the laptop/projector ...

Thanks for the tip
I probably wasn't paying attention when i saved it.
Can you save it as final project in 97-2003 too ?

Sorry man I don't know how to make a PowerPoint presentation work on a D.V.D. player. However it doesn't hurt to try. What program will you be using to burn the presentation?

What do you mean final project in 97-2003? If you can always save it by default in 2007 as 97-2003? If so, the only way I know is the way you did it which is File-> Save As PowerPoint 97-2003 Presentation. It will still work with 2007 and if I am not mistaken it will allow you to even edit the file just like you would edit it in the 2007 format.

Okay well at least you answered me.

I found this for your PowerPoint Presentation however I have never tried it. It does look very straight forward though http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/po...597371033.aspx

As for the final project it should work also. Just make it to the file of 97-2003 and then Mark it as Final.

Hope this helps
