Press start and type winver and it will tell you.

start then winver.. window pop up says windows vista ect.. but didnt tell what sp....

Then you have no service pack installed.

There is only SP1 for vista. It's not THAT old.

can you give me a direct link to download sp1 for vista? and while installing it.... do i have to reboot? and do i still be able to listen to music while installing?

Sp1 has just come out for vista it is quite a big download but i would recommend getting it because it just might improve the stability and compatability of the os with other programs.
