Default front usb not working

After reinstalling windows xp pro and replacing the sound card, the front usb ports are not working (2 of them). Below there are 2 imputs for headphones and a mic. I tried to enable audio in bios but still they are not working.
Help please.

Thumbs up

Have you install your sound drivers...... infact all drivers.

You need to install the drivers then let use know.

Make sure all the connectors / cables are plugged into the motherboard or at least make sure they are sitting and plugged in properly.

USB and audio have nothing in common. There should be two cables coming from the front pannel. Confirm they are both connected correctly and nothing was knocked loose.

Agree with both of you they need to be connected propely at the front into the motherboard and make sure that the drivers are installed if they are not installed then that is the problem as the other one said sound/audio and USB have nothing in common.
