Arrow 8800GT Settings

I have got my pc and its running quite well have been playing games like call of duty 4 online and offline fine at highest settings My specs are:-
Quad core 2.40
8gb ram
8800GT 512mb Card
24 inch monitor
Vista Home 64bit
Resolution 1920x1200

Problem is when i run crysis it dosnt seem to run perfectly smooth on high settings and was wondering what the best settings are to put in the "xpertvision" program.

I have tried Core clock setting:621 Mem clock setting:936 and shader clock setting:1566 and it seems to run better...but is this safe? Will it fry the card eventually?
Thanks in advance

Get atitool, you can test (scan for artifacts) on your overclock (Y)

It won't run perfectly smooth on high settings with an 8800gt, crysis is a monster..

i got it working without even overclocking the card...just got the latest drivers from the website..updated the crysis game with the newest patch and used a "custom settings" patch..and it runs perfect..on a lower resolution though so i have to have the game using only a quarter of my screen but its still amazing

Resolution and the AA are the killers in this game. One setting up on the rez can completely change the performance of the PC.
