Default Laptop Power

Is there anyway to hook up a laptop without the power cord just for an hour or so? All we have to do is clear stuff off of it. Like wire a power cord to the wires that go to the power jack?

It's old, it's so old it's made by Texas Instruments. Battery doesn't hold a charge anymore.

You would probably have to replace the power jack to do that.Power jacks only cost $6 bucks but you could be looking at hours putting it in.

Your best bet is to get a external case for the Hard Drive,,rip the hard drive out of that sucker and use the external case to do your files with.Make a excellent back up drive it would. Some of the lap top memory sells for a good chunk of change on ebay so you might be able to get salvage price on that.
