Wacom is the way to go. Thats a little bit of a large budget, you can get a very nice size for around $300

Definately go Wacom. I'm happy with my Wacom Bamboo and that was only about $60 (US dollars). If you want a really nice one you could get this http://www.jr.com/JRProductPage.proc...WAC+CINTIQ12WX (the tablet has a display that you draw on)

If you want one that's a little less expensive you could go with the http://www.jr.com/JRProductPage.proc...ed.WAC+PTZ1231

It's got a really big workspace.

There are other wacom intuos tablets with smaller workspaces that are less expensive.

Then of course there is the Wacom Bamboo Fun.

Check out their website here http://wacom.com/index.html

Unless your doing some really heavy graphics stuff, I dont think you need anything that heavy duty. The bamboo is fantastic and so is the Intuos 4X6 model which starts at around $150

idk if you mean the bamboo or the bamboo fun, but anyway... I can't tell you much because I'm a Linux user. It's works no problem with the Linux version of Gimp and Inkscape. My brother uses his 4x6 Bamboo Fun in Photoshop CS2 with no problems.

You're welcome! Just beware, the software the Fun comes with (the normal bamboo doesn't com with anything but the driver) is pretty bad. Unfortunately, it doesn't work well with Gimp in Windows (the Linux version is fine), so you'll need Photoshop or maybe Corel Painter X. Just make sure you've got some software it works well with... who knows, you might even be able to get Gimp to work.
