Do you anything useful to say?

For photography software, Adobe lightroom and photoshop I find are the best two tools to use(for me at least). If you don't want to spend the money GIMP is a good open source program.
For video editing, definately use OSX with Final cut pro. I've used many pieces of software and nothing comes close to the power and ease of use. If you don't want to spend the money imovie should do just fine, altough it's not near as powerful.
