Default Wind Noise Reduction?

Ok so I have a Sony Handycam DCR-SR32E and I recently recorded some footage on a speed boat but there is a massive amount of wind noise and you cant hear the awesome 380hp Chev V8 motor or anything else for that matter. Now I was wondering if there is anyway to eliminate or reduce this with a free program or do I have to get something like Vegas, which I cant really afford anyway?

If you can see this, you have WAY TOO much time on your hand. Or you're a mod going through my sig. But if you do, copy and past this in your sig.

Next time use a filter over the microphone on the handycam to cut back on the wind noise. I believe sony makes some that attach right to the camera.

Not sure if this will help in the future but can the cam handle a remote mic? (or you could record the remote mic anyways and sync splice it using software later on)
