Use a Registry Cleaner, Disk Defragmenter, Virus Removal app.
Since I'm in the Linux world, I can't really suggest specifics because honestly I don't know. I do know AVG offers a good set of software here. The defrag app is already included w/ windows, but as far as I know, it isn't as good as Diskeeper.

AVG and Spybot are missing from that list.
