Default Zalman CNPS9700 NT

Ok, i have a cpu fan that came with my Q6600, now someone on thins site recomended me that Zalman CNPS9700 NT, but i found out that it is made for Duel core Cpu's. It only fits socket 775 for intel. Is the q6600 a socket 775? So will this CPU fan work for this type of socket? On the CPu box it says LGA775. Dose that mean that a q6600 is a socket 775? Please a little help

Yeah, its all socket 775. And will work with quads, no difference at all

If you get it, be careful, and do not get mad at it. Or you will get cut by the thing like i did

Core 1-40c
core 2- 34c
core 3-33c
core 4-32c

Are these good? My q6600 book said not have the cpu temp over 39c. I have a 650w power supply y are my two fans not woerking?

Thanks

thats not good. It good because they are just dead, or they can have a loose connection, or they just need a hi force blast from a can of compressed air.

btw. when i said 'thats not good' i meant the fans not spinning...idk about ur temps
