My computer has a 200 GB HD but it came from the store with an OS partition and a data partition. There is nothing on the data partition. I would like to combine them together is that possible with Vista?

Does it not make sense to use that partition for your data as it would be safe if ever you needed to re-install, for instance you could move your "My Documents" folder (if that's what it's called in Vista) into the "Data" partition. Unless you have another HD you are using for this purpose.
I believe a program like Partition Magic can do as you ask but their is always that risk of data corruption.
