Default updating graphics card

im thinking of upgrading my nvidia GeForce MX 400 which came as standard on my hp pavilion 7955 to a connect 3d ATI radeon 9800 pro 128mb DDR tvout/DVI (AGP) - retail (gx-005-co) now i want this card mainly for gaming now i have a budget of about £100- £120 is this a good card or will i be wasting my money

It's a decent card, for £120 you could probably get a 6600GT which would be a fair bit faster

Hey, be sure you have an AGP slot... From what I remember, my brother's has that GFX chipset onboard with his Compaq... It probably does have AGP, but it wouldn't hurt to check...

yer i have had all that checked by my mate whos good on computers it is an agp thanks though and cromewell is that a nvidia card you are talking about
