It's actually a good question, because most of the cheap universal remotes are not compatible with most devices out of the box, and you have to go through a number of steps to train the remote for a given device.

^ I've owned that remote for two weeks. Get that and that's all you'll need. It's easy to setup and compatible with thousands of devices. Although it doesn't have native support for bluetooth/PS3, you can buy a
Nyko Blu Wave remote and program the Harmony to use it's USB adapter with the PS3. I wouldn't go with any of the cheap universal remotes, unless you want to spend hours trying to program one.
