That's easy enough going directly to Creative's support site and selecting the version of Windows you are running and then scrolling the list of updates by date of release to end up seeing...
Downloads TD {font-Size:8pt;} You have selected PCI Express Sound Blaster X-Fi Xtreme Audio and Windows XP. To receive support for a different product, click here. Sorry, no Creative updates are available for the selected query. The original cd provided with the card will have the oldest drivers seen there.

ok pceye, i did that. i reinstalled my card, changed the slots EVERYTHING! its really down to crunch time right now because by friday i need to rip off the audio track off the dvd i have.
pceye, its not really a big deal when playing through itunes. the crackly, not smooth sound comes mostly from when playing a dvd. not a movio file actually on my comp. also, there is the audio cable lead of my DVD drive that can EITHER plug into my mobo, for Asus Music Alarm, or onto my soundcard. i tried both ways, complete crap sound. i need to do this so im going to rip the dvd real quick.

I was able to get on the driver page finally and found only the 10/4/2007 update at http://us.creative.com/support/downl...ype=0&x=13&y=9
The knowledge base however does address the problem of popping and distorted sound with the X-Fi line of SB cards. http://193.95.171.84/SRVS/CGI-BIN/WE...467):obj(26477) A bent pin? That always helps!
