View Single Post - How do you capture video from the computer's DVD player?

if you try to take a snapshot or movie, you see the background and program stuff, but where the video is all you see is a black square. There isnt a way to record the video that is playing on your dvd player, only way to do it is to get a copying programs (they dont allow you to copy copy-protected movies though.)
