Default Decent hdd for media?

I plan on getting another hdd as my 320gb is getting close to full. I have alot of media on my hdd and i plan on getting about a 500gb hdd to transfer all my media to. I plan on changing the shortcuts on that start menu (My docs, pics, ect..). My question is, is this a decent hdd? Also, when I move my music folder to the new drive and change the location of my music folder in windows media player, will I lose all my settings and album artwork that i made? Which should i do first, move the music or change the settings for where the folder is?

Yes they will work, however, at Newegg, for $29 more you can get a 640GB HDD and $39 more, a 750GB HDD.
