please help, really need it
ok, ive been basically working on this problem of mine for a week. i NEVER had this problem before. i had another thread earlier about how my sound is completely distorting and popping when playing a dvd. my mom is part of some Indian Cultural show thing and i'm in charge of the technical stuff of the group. they need a certain song off something recorded on the dish DVR.
i burned the dvr file onto a dvd off my dvd recorder. i hen transfered the dvd to my comp where i wanted to record the sound off the dvd. that was a nono as my sound was horrible. and so then i ripped the dvd onto my comp and it is MUCH better. But its not yet, good enough. i run audacity to get my sound...is that a bad program? never done that to me before. If i play the vid file while opening up ANY PROGRAM or ANY FILE, i get a distorted sound. I NEED THAT AUDIO FILE! any ideas? thnx guys

Try it on a different computer.....
And see what happens.

ok we lost the charger for our main camera, and the small kodak one, my dad took work with him, so i had to use the little brother, aka my $20 cellphone
 , the mark are highlighted. this the image of my sound card. i browned out the burn spots a bit more so u guys can see it. as u can tell, one of my charred ports is my speaker plug in system thingy. please i need ur guys's help. i wanna kill the stupid lil POS and i want to know if i can do it tonight. thnx guys:
