External HDD Help!

Hi all,

i have recently purchased a 200GB external hard drive. i installed the drivers. but i cudnt see the new HD in my computer. i checked the device manager (control panel - system), i found a driver under Hard Disk called WDC WD20 00BB-00GUA0 USB Device and another under USB called USB Mass Storage Device. they r both properly functioning. this really is dazzling me, anyone has any ideas?! help!!!
