While upgrading from a 2.6 dual core to a 2.3 quad core, something very very bad happened. My monitors won't get a signal anymore! the comp is running, but it isn't getting to the monitor. i thought it might be the quad, so i went back to my dual, same problem. tried a single i had......same thing. tried 3 diffrent gpus same effect. diffrent monitor, diffrent hdd, diffrent comp to monitor cable, diffrent ram, diffrent mobo, nothing is working. I have no idea what is going wrong, and there is no logical reason why it is happening. please pour out your infinite logic on me o computer gurus, im havind Call of Duty withdrawls.

What do you mean by "not a big difference when trying to post"? You said you got no signal?

i mean, when it is actauly working. my comp starts, and everything is going(you can tell by the fans) but, there is no signal to the monitor. as stated, i have tried the equivalent of 2 rigs with 2 monitors, but neither is working. i know the monitors both work, but neither will produce a signal when tried with my 2 comps i built. the family hp will wun fine on either one though.
