When I'm running powerpoint in my classroom, if I don't change the slide for several minutes the screen dims. How do I prevent this from happening?
My laptop doesn't dim (presentation view), just the screen my students see. I'm running powerpoint 2007.

I'm teaching university and it's not a projector but rather a 42" plasma TV - no problems when watching video or showing internet sites.

I'd say it isn't PowerPoint 07.
It's settings on the Plasma. Being that there is no movement on the plasma for several mins it has a setting in which it dims. But when you are moving the mouse around it is fine. I would try the settings on the plasma. ![]() ![]() ![]() |

I don't have a plasma, but I have a LED DLP and it has a dim feature that has it din after a few minutes of inactivity to prevent burn-in (Not like it's gonna happen with a DLP though).
