I should prolly add that you'll prolly wanna stay within a make (i.e., ATI/nvidia) so that you dont have driver messiness

Lemme add that XFX manufactures Nvidia graphic cards based on Nvidia reference designs. Therefore there is nothing wrong with XFX, Gainward, Leadtek and other manufacturers which manufacture Nvidia cards. SLI requires 2 cards. 2 cards dont require SLI ). Note that the performance of having two graphic cards does not mean twice as much power.

XFX makes nVidia based cards so ... in-line with my comment, you'll want to stick with another nvidia based card to keep drivers clean

I'm assuming your talking about an SLI setup? in which case you'd have to choose Nvidia cards. If you where talking about 2 diff cards to simply to run multiple monitors then you can do that also but as suggested best to stick with a single brand.

Do you know which nVidia based card can be SLI'd tuffdavi?

I think it is only the 6600GT and 6800GT ones...

Just in case you thought that you could go buy two GeForce FX 5900's like I did when I was a noob
