Default Removing XP

Hey so I just finished my first build gotta say I cant wait to rock out on unreal tournament 3 but me being the retard I am thought I could probably use the XP that came with my family's computer so anyways I installed it fine but whenever theres the page in the setup that asks for the security code? im pretty surei t says security code its supposed to be like a 25 digit code that automatically appears like a security device so you cant pirate but anyways obviously nothing is there but ive ordered vista should be here today or tommorrow so how do i take off xp to put on vista? can i just boot from the vista disc and itll go to the vista install? thanks for the help

Try to use punctuation next time.

It's a 25-digit CD Key that you need to install Windows, when you get Vista you can just pop the CD in and install that over the XP files.

If you have xp right now you can just do an upgrade with the vista cd and you wont loose any docs or programs. It just replaces all the windows files.
